Tissue Culture Process
i.
Explant is isolated, sterilised, placed on culture medium and incubated.
ii.
Once shoots start growing from explant, the explant undergoes a series of subdivision until each shoot can be individually removed and transplanted to a new culture medium.
iii.
Each young shoot is cut further into 3 segments and planted in flasks containing a different nutrient and chemical base to stimulate root growth for development as seedlings.
